Medhufushi is simple in concept but exudes character and class. The island is long and narrow, the rooms running the length of both sides. At one end is the service area, at the other the water bungalows. Half way along is the public area, including dive and watersports centres. In the lagoon at this point you will find the main bar. Everything will be built to the highest standards including wooden rather than plastic sunloungers.
If you are looking for a good quality resort with a calm, peaceful atmosphere and are not worried about land based facilities such as tennis courts, squash courts, gymnasiums, etc, then look no further. Medhufushi has a true Maldivian feel and is the perfect place for you if you just want relaxation, great food and a good selection of watersports. The swimming pool there is a plus which many smaller resorts dont have.
We are confident that a great resort will be even better following its refurbishments/repairs. Highly recommended.
